Team Comm Clean hop, skip and jump into bronze FORS victory

We are one third of the way toward gold status victory with Transport for London but are off to a flying (or driving) start.

Bronze FORS Certification Bronze FORS accreditated

With the chaotic roads of London becoming ever busier, the need for legally compliant and safe freight operators in the capital couldn’t be more paramount and is something Community Clean has always taken extremely seriously.

The Fleets Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary scheme operated by Transport for London which aims to promote safe working practices, legal compliance and safety of road freight operators in London.

There are 3 tiers to the FORS accreditations being bronze, silver and gold and our team are ecstatic to have been awarded bronze.

Managing Director Andy Izzard said: “As we continue to grow our business within the London area, this award could not have come at a better time.”

We recently reported on our successful new contract win with TfL and the London Underground STAKE programme which aims to refurbish over 70 of the stations over the next 6 year duration.

Andy said: “Having responsibly operated our fleet within London for many years, it is fantastic to have TfL recognise and underline that by awarding us the FORS bronze accreditation.”

We are committed to our London-based clients (as we are to any of our clients throughout the UK) which is why we leaped at the chance to apply for this coveted accreditation.

The thorough process involved gathering and supplying in-depth detail as well as an independent audit from FORS.

Whilst we are glad to have begun climbing the FORS ladder, we won’t stop until we’re holding that gold... call us the Mo Farah of the industrial restoration world!

Feel free to get in touch with us today for more information on FORS or any other of our accreditations that may be relevant to an upcoming project.
