MagicCote carried out a trial using MCSP (Surface Prep) and MCI (MagicCote Industrial Surface Protection) to renovate and then protect the stone.

The results were impressive and the Street Scene Engineering Manager gave the go ahead for approximately 12,000m2 of Blackpool to be restored. If a new lay project had been chosen to renovate the town centre it would have cost in the region of £650k, but by purchasing our products and using the MagicCote approved contractor the total cost of the scheme was reduced to £100k - which included deep cleaning, surface prep, surface protection, re-sanding and replacing broken blocks.
