Well 2010 seems to have passed in a flash and Christmas is just around the corner; it doesn’t seem 5 minutes ago we took the Christmas tree down!
I think its fair to say the past year has proved difficult and challenging for most and has seen budgets being cut across the board. Many of our customers have been affected directly and we have worked closely with them to help deliver best value in these tight economic times.
Despite the “doom & gloom” we do have some positive news going into 2011. Over the past 6 months we have been working on the Olympic Park and Olympic Village with various contractors doing tests on different surfaces with a range of anti-graffiti systems. We have now received the go-ahead for two projects, one on the park and one on the village so we are expecting to have some teams on the Olympic site throughout 2011.
The team continues to work hard and we are proud of the projects we have been involved with over the last 12 months. Our corporate DVD will be out early in 2011 and we have tried to capture Community Clean core values. With testimonials from clients and interviews with some of our key team members, we hope it helps you get to know us a little better.
We are pleased to say that our internal ICATS (Industrial Coatings Applicator Training Scheme) training is going very well. Our internal trainer has recently trained and assessed five operatives to gain their certification as Industrial Coating applicators by the Institute of Corrosion; giving our clients confidence that all painting works will be delivered safely and to specification.
We have recently taken delivery of two Toyota Prius Hybrid cars, apart from using the worlds most advanced technology in a car they utilise their full hybrid efficiency to deliver ultra low CO2 emissions and class-leading fuel economy. The drivers have commented on how smooth, quite and powerful these cars are which makes for happy staff and helps us towards our environmental commitment of lowering our CO2 footprint and fuel usage.
Outsourcing seems to be on everyone’s lips at the moment and Community Clean have been in talks with various clients to deliver a wide range of services, if outsourcing is of interest to you we would be happy to discuss your requirement; please get in touch.
Finally I would like to say thank you to all our customers who have supported us in 2010, we look forward to continuing to work with you in 2011 and the whole Community Clean team would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Good luck and best wishes to everyone for a prosperous 2011.
