Cleaning & Protecting Hampton Court Bridge

The client brief was clear and the aim was to make an old bridge clean, keeping its character and charm intact. Once clean, a protective system, including anti graffiti coatings, was needed to keep the parapets looking good for years to come. We needed to take into account a number of factors as the job involved working on an old structure (constructed in the 1930’s), over water, with a high footfall of traffic whilst liaising with a number of parties including; English Heritage, Environment Agency, Surrey County Council and the client.

Sticky Problem Solved

To carry out chewing gum removal and general grime cleaning from approx 25,000sqm of pavement throughout the busy town centres of Bournemouth and Boscombe. The work was to be completed within 10 weeks with minimum disruption to local businesses and the public.

Dealing with graffiti at a local level

Wycombe District Council wanted to be able to respond to small scale graffiti attacks in a quick, safe and efficient way. It was important for them to find a quick and safe graffiti removal process. They also wanted to encourage local ownership of the problem.

Bracknell Town Centre

To remove chewing gum and clean the paved areas using a non-disruptive, environmentally friendly system.

North Ascot Community Clean Up

Thames Valley Police & Bracknell Forest Borough Council identified regular graffiti offenders in the ascot area. Five boys aged 14 and 15 were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage in relation to a total of around 35 offences. They attended a restorative justice (RJ) conference and were ordered to attend a community clean up day to remove their own graffiti tags! Graffiti Removal was an important part of the punishment for the offenders. They wanted a company to supply a team to deal with the difficult tags and give advice/supervision to the offenders.
