Cleaning - Graffiti Removal & Drugs Response Vehicle

The challenge

London Borough of Islington were looking for 2 bespoke vehicles, one for graffiti removal & one for drugs response. They wanted a professional, robust, reliable setup that is secure and easy for their operatives to work with.

What did we do

Using our experience we worked closely with the London Borough of Islington to design and specify the vehicles. Then we managed the build of the vehicles to ensure that the vehicles were built to the expected standards and on time. All components of the vehicle that we specified were done so for their known reliability and performance, especially the jet wash unit. This is a very quiet, reliable, high performance and fully adjustable unit that we have used for over 8 years, proving itself in the field.

The outcome

London Borough of Islington now have 2 vehicles, built to their specification that will give them years of reliable service. Both vehicles are fully self contained and can be driven by operatives on a standard licence, doing away with the need for additional driver training.

The council recently employed Community Clean to carry out a large amount of 'street improvement' works prior to the CBI Conference being held in Islington. The project included pavement washing to provide a thorough deep clean including chewing gum removal, painting of railings, and the removal of grime and graffiti. The project proved very successful and an excellent standard of work was achieved resulting in a significant improvement to the target areas.

Community Clean has also supplied us with a 'Graffiti Response Vehicle' and a 'Drugs Action Response Vehicle' to assist with our hands-on approach in tackling anti-social behavior. A detailed specification was provided and we were kept fully informed throughout each stage of the order process. The vehicles have exceeded our expectations and contributed to the on-going development of the borough, enabling people to continue to enjoy their surroundings and to appreciate where they live."
