Welcome to the Summer edition of the Community Clean Newsletter. A lot has happened in the last few months and we would like to take this opportunity to share some of our news with you. The Summer seems to have come and gone with very little of the shiny yellow stuff, lets keep our fingers crossed for an Indian Summer. We have had fun scheduling our work around the erratic weather conditions, but are pleased to say that we have managed to keep things on track and deliver the projects on time and in budget. Over the past 4 months we have appeared on BBC national television twice, publicising the work we do with our clients; please click here to view our latest celebrity employees. We have had the opportunity of working on the Olympic Park site and look forward to helping protect the 2012 Olympic assets for the games and future legacy. September is the end of our financial year and early indications show that we have had a successful year despite the economical climate; we would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers and suppliers for all their support over the past 12 months and look forward to working with you going forward. | CASE STUDY: Street Furniture RefurbishmentThe challenge: Community Clean has undertaken a large amount of town centre enhancement work for Bracknell Forest Borough Council. The project included the refurbishment of cycle racks, benches, planters, litter bins and the High Street Entrance Structure. What did we do: Due to the high footfall in the Town Centre our teams worked early in the morning to minimise any disruption to the public. All the items were barriered off, surfaces were prepared mechanically to the specification of the customer and only specialist, hard wearing, quick drying paints and varnishes were used. The outcome: The project was completed to a very high standard and on time. We received some excellent feedback from our client. |

| "Community Clean have proven time and again that they respond well to a challenge. At Bracknell Forest Council we have looked to them to help us solve a range of issues over the years. Most recently they were tasked with the refurbishment of the very varied artwork in our town centre subways and then re coating them with a protective anti-graffiti coating. They were then asked to repair and repaint planters, litter bins and finally a high level decorative archway all in the busy Town Centre. The works were completed to a very high standard and with no disruption to shoppers or commercial premises. During the works we were impressed by the organisational arrangements and commitment of the Community Clean team. We got many complimentary comments back about the work and the staff from both the public and the retailers. I know that there were one or two members of the public that were a bit challenging but the staff handled the few instances that there were extremely professionally. From my experience I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Community Clean as being a very reliable and professional service provider." Working Overseas! We were very pleased to be awarded two new contracts with the Isle of Wight Council. Our teams will be very busy over the next few months carrying out cleaning and maintenance of all the bus shelters and sea side resort shelters across the island. The work is progressing on schedule and the feedback from the council has been excellent. Community Clean was very happy to be awarded the contract for the provision of graffiti and fly posting removal on the island that was awarded earlier this year. As part of this contract our team featured on BBC CRIMEWATCH that was shown on BBC1 in July.
