NEWS: ICATS Success! The ICATS scheme is a new comprehensive structured training scheme for the training, certification and registration of industrial surface preparation and coating operatives. Community Clean has over 14 years experience in the preparation and application of industrial coatings and anti-graffiti systems; including managing and commissioning artistic murals. Our Operations Director, Martin Izzard, successfully completed the course in 2008 and gained certification as an ICATS trainer. Martin is now qualified to train and assess operatives for individual certification as Industrial Coating Applicators. The training of our operatives is well underway and we are working towards all site staff having the certification. Community Clean is an ICATS accredited company that is supported by the Highways Agency, Network Rail, BCSA, The British Coating Federation and its member paint manufacturers, Consulting Engineers, Local Government and Structural Engineering Specifiers. ICATS is also supported by CITB and the scheme aligns with the NVQ assessment requirements for industrial painting. Read more about our training.
