Hello from everybody here at Community Clean and we hope you enjoy our Christmas newsletter. Hopefully you are ready for the Christmas break and all the festivities, we certainly are, 2008 has been an interesting and successful year for us and we hope it`s been the same for you because 2009 certainly looks as though it`s going to be a challenge for us all!

We had our company Christmas party on the 12th which has put us all in the mood for the season and the weather is certainly helping to remind us that it`s that time of year.

CASE STUDY: Ringwood Subway Mural The challenge: To clean the entire subway and paint necessary areas in preperation for the new mural and then protect the surfaces. After carrying out a detailed site survey we submitted our quotation for the project and our proposal was successful. What did we do: Our team carried out a complete clean of the subway walls using high pressure, hot water to remove grime and detritus. The walls were then painted in a white, obliterating undercoat/primer to allow any paint used for the new mural to adhere. Once the mural had been completed we returned to site to apply a clear, permanent anti-graffiti coating that will protect the mural against graffiti, grime and mild abrasion. The coating has a life expectancy of 20 years. The outcome: The results were extremely rewarding as the murals looked fantastic and gave a new lease of life to the subway walls. Community Clean was proud to have been involved with the Ringwood Subway Mural work carried out earlier this year.
