Community Clean takes pride in restoring pedestrian precincts, pedestrian footways, car parks, retail parks, supermarket areas and any other surface that needs chewing gum removal/cleaning. How do we remove the gum?
Having recognised that this is a world-wide problem an extensive market research operation was set up to examine the various methods that have been tried to solve the problem.
After identifying the flaws in other processes, Community Clean had to adopt a system that gave better results. Our system is:
-
Environmentally friendly, using a biodegradable, vegetable based solution
-
Gentle on surfaces, low pressure/high temperature steam system
-
Quiet operation
-
Water efficient, using only 40 litres of water per day
-
Quick operation, cleaning 500-800sqm of pavement per day
-
Allows pedestrian flow
-
Ergonomically accepted
An average jet wash system being used for 5 hours a day to remove gum uses 22,500 litres of water per week, the Mirage System uses 200 litres per week; a massive saving of 22,300 litres in just one week!
