National Highways Sector Scheme - 19A

As part of our ongoing commitment to quality and H&S we are proud and pleased to have achieved National Highways Sector Scheme 19A accreditation. NHSS are bespoke integrated management schemes within an ISO 9001:2000 framework.

National Highways Sector Scheme - 12D

Temporary Traffic Management for installing, maintaining and removing on urban and rural roads. 12D Static works on single carriageways including all forms of traffic control except multi-phase traffic signals.

 

CHAS Accredited Contractor

CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme)

Established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. Being CHAS approved reduces duplication as suppliers compliance is accepted by all CHAS buyers. We have shown compliance with the important parts of health and safety law (the core criteria described in the CDM regulations) and on achieving compliance we are now approved to work for all CHAS buyers.

Community Clean Accreditations

Constructionline

The Government's national register for suppliers.   By reducing duplication in the pre-qualification process, Constructionline helps both buyers and suppliers achieve savings in cost and time spent filling in forms. The relationships that Constructionline maintain with other industry organisations, means that their details are available to users not only from the buyer organisations registered with Constructionline, but also to all users from organisations we have established working relationships with. This maximizes the company’s market exposure and potential business opportunities.

ISO 9001:2008

Specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide a product/service that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement and the assurance of conformity to the customer. Community Clean fully support the purpose of ISO 9001:2008 and believe it proves our commitment as a company in providing the best possible service.

ISO 14001:2004

Specifies requirements for an environmental management system to enable an organization to develop and implement a policy and objectives which take into account relevant requirements and environmental aspects. It applies to those environmental aspects that we as a company have identified as those which it can control and those which it can influence. Protection of the environment is part of Community Cleans values and principles and we consider it to be sound practice. Care for the environment is one of our key responsibilities and an important part of the way in which we do business.

OHSAS 18001

BS OHSAS 18001 enables us to control health and safety risks while promoting employee wellbeing and a safe working environment. The standard was developed in response to market demand for a health and safety management system standard against which organisations can be assessed and certified. Having our health & safety management system certified to BS OHSAS 18001 reassures stakeholders that we take corporate responsibility seriously.

ICATS Registered Company

Our Operations Director, Martin Izzard, has been awarded an ICATS Trainer Certificate by the Institute of Corrosion. As a certificated trainer, Martin is qualified to train and assess operatives for individual certification. The ICATS scheme is a new comprehensive structured training scheme for the training, certification and registration of industrial surface preparation and coating operatives. It enables us to provide the 'best value' service to maximise coating performance over structure life and to reduce whole life costs.

 

 

RISQS - 5 Star Rating

Formerly known as ‘Link-up’, the ‘Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme’ (RISQS) is the UK industry standard accreditation that provides a fair, open and transparent third party qualification. Having been a member of Link-up and now RISQS for many years, we are now 5 star rated which is the maximum award for this accreditation. This is an extremely important accreditation in our armoury as our presence in the rail sector continues to grow.

 CSCS

All Community Clean operatives carry CSCS cards (construction skills certificate scheme). CSCS was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents.

 

FORS Bronze Certification

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary scheme operated by Transport for London which aims to promote safe working practices, legal compliance and safety of road freight operators in London.

Community Clean have achieved the bronze level certification and swiftly working our way to gold.

International Powered Access Federation (IPAF)

iPAF promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide in the widest sense through providing technical advice and information, through influencing and interpreting legislation and standards, through its safety initiatives and training programmes. It is a not-for-profit organisation owned by its members who include manufacturers, rental companies, contractors and users.

 

 

 

CIRAS (Confidential Incident Reporting & Analysis System)

The Confidential Incident Reporting & Analysis System (CIRAS) is a confidential safety reporting service for all workers in the United Kingdom rail industry. It operates under the oversight of the independent CIRAS Committee which is a unit of the Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB)
